The β2-adrenergic receptor (β2-AR) is an important member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and plays a broad role in regulating physiological processes such as cardiovascular function, respiratory control, and metabolic processes. This receptor is crucial in modulating airway smooth muscle tone, and its dysregulation is closely associated with the development and progression of various diseases, including nocturnal asthma, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Due to its significant physiological functions, current drug development targeting the β2 receptor primarily focuses on creating novel agonists and antagonists, offering new therapeutic strategies for respiratory diseases, tumors, and other disorders.

CHO-K1/Mouse β2-adrenoceptor Agonist Assay. CHO-K1/Mouse β2-adrenoceptor cells were treated with the reference agonist L-Adrenaline. The assay was run based on Revvity cAMP HTRF protocol. Non-linear regression was used to plot activity changes vs. [Compound, M], and EC50 values were determined, using GraphPad Prism software.
