Product Description
Tachykinin receptors are a family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) comprising three distinct subtypes: neurokinin 1 (NK1), NK2, and NK3 receptors, each exhibiting unique ligand specificity, tissue distribution, and functional roles. These receptors are activated by structurally related neuropeptides—substance P (SP), neurokinin A (NKA), and neurokinin B (NKB)—which share a conserved C-terminal sequence (-Phe-X-Gly-Leu-Met-NH₂).
Screeningbio’s HEK293/Human NK2R cell line overexpress TACR2 receptor and is designed to detect increases in intracellular IP-1 levels in response to agonist stimulation of the receptor. Cisbio HTRF IP-1 kit can be used to detect the signal.

Data
![HEK293/Human NK2R Agonist Assay. HEK293/Human NK2R cells were treated with the reference agonist. The assay was run based on Revvity IP-one HTRF protocol. Non-linear regression was used to plot activity changes vs. [Compound, M], and EC50 /IC50 values were determined, using GraphPad Prism software.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/cbf7de_d16a3d39600941c789b91bc5a0604e06~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_75,h_75,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,blur_2,enc_auto/cbf7de_d16a3d39600941c789b91bc5a0604e06~mv2.png)
