Product Description
The GALCRL-RAMP3 (AM2) receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor complex formed by the calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CALCRL/CLR) and receptor activity-modifying protein 3 (RAMP3). Its distribution in the body differs from that of RAMP2 (i.e., different from the AM1 receptor). Functionally, this receptor primarily recognizes and binds adrenomedullin (AM) and its related ligands with high affinity, playing crucial roles in physiological processes such as regulating vascular tone and fluid balance via the Gs protein-cAMP signaling pathway, as well as in maintaining normal body weight in old age and contributing to immune function.
Screeningbio’s CHO-K1/Human GALCRL-RAMP3(AM2) cell line overexpress both CALCRL and RAMP3 accessory protein (also named AM2). The cell line is designed to detect increases in intracellular cAMP levels in response to agonist stimulation of the receptor. Cisbio HTRF cAMP kit can be used to detect the signal.
