Product Description

The α1-adrenergic receptors (α1-ARs) are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily, comprising three subtypes: α1A, α1B, and α1D. Although all these subtypes signal through the Gq/11 family of proteins to mediate downstream signaling, they exhibit distinct activation patterns.α1-ARs can mediate cellular mitogenic responses and regulate the growth and proliferation of various cell types. Given their role in multiple critical physiological responses, the development of drugs targeting α1-ARs holds broad application prospects.

Screeningbio’s HEK293/Human α1B-adrenoceptor Gq cell line overexpress ADRA1B receptor and is designed to detect increases in intracellular Calcium flux signal in response to agonist stimulation of the receptor. Molecular Devices Calcium 6 kit can be used to detect the signal.

Data

HEK293/Human α1B-adrenoceptor Agonist Assay. HEK293/Human α1B-adrenoceptor cells were treated with the reference agonist Epinephrine. The assay was run based on FLIPR Calcium 6 Assay protocol. Non-linear regression was used to plot activity changes vs. [Compound, M], and EC50 values were determined, using GraphPad Prism software.
