Product Description


The M3 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (CHRM3) is a G protein-coupled receptor widely expressed in various tissues, with prominent presence in smooth muscle, the heart, and secretory glands. It participates in the regulation of multiple physiological processes, including gastrointestinal motility, glandular secretion, cardiac rhythm, and vasodilation. Moreover, M3 plays a significant role in various pathological conditions such as asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a potential target for drug development and disease treatment.

 

Screeningbio’s CHO-K1/Rat M3 cell line overexpress CHRM3 receptor and is designed to detect increases in intracellular IP-1 levels in response to agonist stimulation of the receptor. Cisbio HTRF IP-1 kit can be used to detect the signal.

Non-linear regression was used to plot activity changes vs. [Compound, M], and EC50 /IC50 values were determined, using GraphPad Prism software.
